Our Home Inspection Services

As Licensed Professional Home Inspectors, we have the knowledge and expertise to provide you with a thorough and professional, non-intrusive, visual inspection of your home, from foundation to roof.

Outside the home, we will check the exterior walls, roof, deck, etc., then we will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure that they function as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space.

BUYER INSPECTION

Most inspections in the DFW Metro area are done at the request of the buyer. The buyer usually has a 3-10 day window to complete an inspection before they can purchase and close on a home. It is their opportunity to have an unbiased and careful assessment of their potential home. We are committed to giving the buyer the best value and protection.

NEW HOME INSPECTION

As a homebuyer, you should insist on a new home inspection.  Our attention to detail will often find issues that are overlooked by basic code and compliance checks performed by the builder or contractor.  It's best to schedule these inspections 1-2 days before the final walk through to ensure that the home is as complete as possible.

HOME WARRANTY INSPECTION

Schedule a home warranty inspection before it expires. Most homeowners don't believe that any problems will arise during the first year. However, it is always best to have your property inspected by a home inspector.

SELLER INSPECTION

Invest in a home inspection before putting your home on the market. Understanding the condition of your property before listing it will help ensure that there are no surprises and unexpected costly repairs.

WOOD DESTROYING INSECT REPORT

Square Foot Home Inspections is also a Licensed Pest Control Company T.P.C.L. # 0602884. We also provide information at the time of the inspection as to the nature and habits of Subterranean Termites and Carpenter Ants that are prone to the North and Central Texas areas.
